Margaret "Marge" Sutton, 91 of Ashby, died Friday afternoon, December 23, 2011 at Bryan LGH Hospital in Lincoln.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Alliance, Nebraska with Jim Nichols and Joseph Carty officiating. Private family scattering of the ashes will be held at a later date.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Born on November 13, 1920 to Frank Earl Kerr and Eleanor Megason Burger Kerr south of Ashby, NE. She had two infant brothers and two half brothers Lafey Kerr and Earl Burger.
She attended Ellsworth school 1925-1927, Willow Springs Mo 1928 –1929, County King Mountain, MO 1930, and Hwy 4 School in 1931.
Her mother passed away in 1925 where she moved around a lot and then moved to Omaha, NE in 1935 where she went to school and worked for TS Freeland. From 1936-1937 she then went to school and lived with Aunt Flora in Exitor, NE. In 1938 she returned to Ashby to live with brother Lafey and finished school up to the 9th grade. She then worked for the government being a teacher’s aid and worked for Nellie and Harry Sutton in the summers cooking and cleaning.
She married Raymond June 29 of 1938 in Denver CO with Oscar Boone and friend being their witnesses. They were married 73 years and raised five children, Genelle (Robin), Larry, Dan, Kay (Mutt), and Pam (Chickadee).
Carl Pine baptized her into the Seventh-Day Adventist Church 12-17-1955 in Chappell NE.
Margie loved her Lord and Savior and loved to share Him with others with bible studies, She read her bible daily and was reading it through for the 17th time. She was a avid ranchers wife, loved her husband and children, she loved to sew quilts and do embroidery work, loved to plant flowers in the spring and watch them grow through the summer. She loved to have a house full of plants, loved when people would stop by so that she could prepare a meal and had the Gift of Hospitality. She had a sense of humor when people would call her and say, “Is this the chicken lady”? She enjoyed doing plays in Ashby. Her last prayer with her prayer partner was that she prayed for her children, grand children etc. to walk on the street of heaven together.
She was survived by daughter Genelle Holder and husband Randahl of Rochester, WA, son Larry Sutton and wife Sandy of Canyon City CO, son Dan Sutton and wife Kathy of Grand Island, NE, daughter Kay Sutton of Denton, NE , daughter Pam Bell and husband Rick of Murdock, NE, nephew James Burger and wife Jan of Houston, MO, niece Margie Jordan and husband Fred of Crestview, FL , 11 grand children, 22 great grand children , 1 great great grand daughter, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and husband.
