Nyla M. Geisman, 78, of Longmont passed away April 11, 2012 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Lewellen with the Reverend Doctor Stephen Graag officiating. Burial will follow at the Ash Hollow Cemetery near Lewellen. Visitation will be held before services at the church.
Nyla was born on May 13, 1933 in Lewellen, Nebraska to Henry and Waunita (Kent) Rohlfing. She graduated from Lewellen High School. On July 11, 1971, Nyla married Henry ‘Hank’ Geisman in Denver, Colorado. They moved to Longmont in 1975 from Strasburg, CO.
Nyla was a homemaker. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Lewellen, NE. Nyla was a wonderful cook, baking pies and cakes. She enjoyed horses, gardening, flowers and trees. Nyla loved life and people.
Nyla is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ron Rohlfing in 2011. She is survived by her husband Henry ‘Hank’ Geisman, Longmont, a son Ron Ramsey (Penny), Greeley, CO, grandson, Brian Ramsey (Sherri), Longmont, CO, great grandson, Brad Johnson, two sisters, Ruth Frerichs, Ogallala, NE and Carole Vasa, Ogallala, NE.
