Marvin Dale Grace, 76, of Lewellen, died Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Ash Hollow Cemetery near Lewellen with Pastor Duane Dunwoody officiating.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers in Marvin’s name to the donor’s choice.

Marvin Dale Grace was born August 29, 1935 to Dale Edward and Violet Anna (Grannell) Grace in Julesburg, Colorado. He attended country school and eventually graduated from Lewellen Rural High School in 1952.
After graduation Marvin joined the military where he was called to duty for 2 stints. In 1970, he was united in marriage to Gail Barnard in Las Vegas, Nevada. To this union their only daughter, Shelby was born. After their marriage the couple moved to the ranch south of Lewellen where Marvin spent the rest of his life.
He enjoyed hunting geese and elk in Colorado, flying, and spending time with his family.
Marvin was a lifetime member of the Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Gail of Lewellen; daughter, Shelby Grace and good friend, Randy Dormann of Oshkosh; 2 brothers, Merlyn and wife, Arlene of Lewellen and Melvin “Butch” and wife, Jeanie of Lewellen; sister, JoAnn and husband, John Podkonyak of Lewellen; 2 nephews; 4 nieces; and many other family members and friends.
Marvin was preceded in
death by his parents.
