Donna Gunderson, 49, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday morning, November 20, 2012, as a result of a motor vehicle accident near Lisco.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Wesleyan Church in Oshkosh with Pastor Lynn Lutz officiating. Burial will be held at the Oshkosh City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the family present at the Holechek Funeral Home in Oshkosh.
A memorial has been established in Donna’s name to the family.

Donna Vee Gunderson was born November 19, 1963 in Denver Colorado to Donald Truman and Ida Belle (Hodges) Scherbarth. She grew up in Denver and attended
school there. She attended South High School.
On November 7, 1981 she married her childhood sweetheart Roy O’Dell Gunderson, II in Denver. To this union 3 children were born: Elizabeth Anne, Roy O’Dell, III, and Ivy Shyanne. The couple made their home in the Denver area where Donna worked mostly as a mother. She spent time helping Roy with his carpet laying business. Eventually, Donna began painting homes which was a great joy for her. The couple moved to Oshkosh in 2005 and started R&D’s Carpet and Painting, LLC. She loved working alongside her husband.
Donna enjoyed collecting rusty relics and antiques, hiking, camping, tennis, coloring, playing pool and Rock n’ Roll. She loved to cook and bake delicious goodies for friends and family. Above everything else she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband of 31 years, Roy of Oshkosh; son, Roy Gunderson, III and significant other, Tess Lister of Wheatridge, Colorado; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Gunderson of Ogallala and Ivy Gunderson of Oshkosh; sister, Leila and husband, Michael Casados of Ogallala; 2 grandchildren, Lyris Gunderson-White and Miles Davis of Brule, Nebraska; 2 sister-in-laws, Sandy Lackner of Oshkosh and Cecile Young of Denver; special niece, Terrie Lackner of Sacramento, California; special nephew, Joe Walker of Oshkosh; great-nephew, Kevin Lackner of Sacramento, California; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy’s parents, and her best friend Tamera Stewart of Utah.
