Sue Money, 67 of Dalton, Nebraska died early Thursday morning, March 21, 2013 in Sidney, Nebraska after a long battle with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, March 29, 2013 in the Dalton Cemetery in Dalton, Nebraska with Pastor Leon “Bud” Gillespie officiating. The family request casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Sidney Regional Medical Center Hospice.
Cremation has taken place and there is no visitation at the funeral home. Friends who wish may sign Sue’s register book Thursday afternoon at Holechek Funeral Home in Sidney.
Susan F. Money, the daughter of Dale and Ruth (Bobbit) Strickland was born July 3, 1945 in Pampa, Texas. She grew up in Pampa and attended school there. After school she worked in a Coca Cola plant where she met her future husband, Rick Money.
On September 22, 1978 they were married in Pampa. They move to Dalton in 1994. Sue worked at the Day’s Inn in Sidney for a short time.
Survivors include her husband Rick of Dalton, NE; two sons: Randy and wife Shannon Cloud of Parker, CO and Scott Money of Lincoln, CA; two daughters: Kelly Money of Dalton, NE and Kim Money of Lincoln, CA and Six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Sidney is serving the Money family.
