Ronald "Ron" Champion, 68, of Oshkosh passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday afternoon, April 24, 2013.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Holechek Funeral Home in Oshkosh with Pastor Duane Dunwoody officiating. Private family scattering of the ashes will be held at a later date.
Following Ron's wishes he was cremated and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Oshkosh is serving the Champion Family.
A memorial has been established in Ron's name to the family.
Ronald Wallace Champion was born on October 22, 1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Wallace Aufice and Norma Jean (Mathis) Champion.
On December 25, 1964 he was united in marriage to Freda Fallis in Denver, Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Freda; 2 sons, Jackie Champion and Vachel and wife, Liz Champion, and 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Miles and Lyris.
