Tanya Ballew, 60 of Chappell, Nebraska and formerly of Longmont, Colorado died late Wednesday evening, June 19, 2013 at Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska.
Cremation has take place and there is no visitation at the funeral home.
The family is planning a memorial service with Pastor Sarah Cordray to be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the Grace Lutheran Church in Chappell, Nebraska.
Survivors include her mother Mildred Payne of Chappell, NE; one daughter Shawna Ballew (Chris Holtorf) of Longmont, CO; two granddaughters: Alowynne Starling and Auryn Holtorf both of Longmont, CO; two brothers: Terry Payne and Thomas Payne (Eileen Lohman) both of Chappell, NE; three sisters: Tamie Wyns (Eric) of Westminister, CO, Tina Iske (Ron) of Chappell, NE and Kimberly Nixon (Robert) of San Antonio, TX; her ex-husband Leonard Ballew of Longmont, CO; two nieces: Amanda Payne of Sidney, NE and Jacklynn McKenzie of Kimball, NE and one nephew Thomas J. Payne of Chappell, NE
She was preceded in death by her father Roger Payne, son Thomas Allan Ballew and nephew Joshua Daniel Abernathy.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
