Ed will be remembered for his positive outlook and his ability to make the most of each day that God granted to him. He was most happy when he and Loraine could travel in their
motorhome to see new places and make new friends. Wintering in Indio, CA with their friends at
Happy Wanderer Resort was a treasured reward for Ed and Loraine. Eddie took great pride in
his family. He loved to be with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He felt that
every child should experience Disneyland, and he made sure that every one of his grandchildren saw Disneyland with "Grandpa and Grandma."
Survivors include his wife, Loraine, of 65 years. Three sons, Kent (Mary Kay), Bruce, Craig (Carla), all of Sidney, seven grandchildren, Julia (Kevin) Bettinger, Buffalo, Wyoming, Nick Brauer, Sidney, Jennifer Brauer, Omaha, Karl (Vanessa) Brauer, Lubbock, Texas, Kurtis Brauer, Sidney, Jessica and Joshua Brauer of Lincoln, three great grandchildren, Addison, Grahm, and Parker.
