Holli Ann Fessler, 54, of Omaha, ended her four and a half year courageous battle with ovarian cancer on June 9, 2014.
Graveside service and celebration of life will be held at Ash Hollow Cemetery near Lewellen on Friday, June 27 at 11 AM. Rev. Duane Dunwoody will officiate. A luncheon will follow at the Lewellen Community Center.

She was born in Oshkosh on December 22, 1959 to John and JoAnn Podkonyak. She graduated from Lewellen Rural High School in 1978, then studied at UNL and finished with an Associates degree in Dietetics from Southeast Community College in 1981. Following her college graduation, Holli worked in Scottsbluff at Regional West Hospital where she met her husband, Sidney. Holli and Sid moved to Omaha and were married on August 28, 1987. Holli enjoyed her job at NEI Global where she made many close friends and worked until 2013 when her battle with cancer required her full attention. She spent much of her time with family at their home in North Loop and also loved spending time in Arizona during the winter visiting her parents.
Holli is survived by her parents: John and JoAnn Podkonyak, of Lewellen; husband: Sidney Fessler, CSM Ret. US Army, Omaha; step-sons and wives: Sidney, Jr. and Heidi Fessler, of Broken Bow; Chance and Chelsey Fessler, of Brady; grandchildren: Ainsley, Quinn, and Sidney III; sister and brother-in-law: Jill and Bill Campbell, of Oshkosh; and many friends, family, and faithful cats: Buddy and Boots.
She was preceded in death by grandparents: Paul and Edith Podkonyak and Dale and Vi Grace, all of Lewellen; uncle Marvin Grace, of Lewellen; and aunt and uncle June and Dick Roberts, of Omaha.
