Dad
(by Kandy Cook)
When I was an l little girl I remember waiting so eagerly to hear your key chain wiggle when you came home.
You taught me how to build just about anything. How to keep a sound car, you bought my horse (tootsie) taught me how to work with patience, strength, and heart,
And, above all you called when you needed me.
Truth is there is you every time I think of who I looked up to, wanted to make proud, needed when he needed me , now you’re my tears and my memories, my father and my dad. The best man I ever knew.
Mom is waiting as she always did. She is yours in mind, heart and now in sprit. She has beckoned you to join her in a world where pain no longer exists.
Anyway Dad we are being left here with all this and none of it means nothing without you.
My daddy; as always, now, and forever.
Till’ we see you again.
Hear is our hearts and then go’s my life…
You’re Daughter,
Kandy Cook
