Jep Paulsen

Jep McKinley Paulsen was born on the evening of June 16, 2014, at Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver, CO. After struggling with multi organ issues- primarily lung prematurity and damage - Jep gently passed to be with the Lord on August 26, 2015, at Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO.

A public visitation is scheduled from 12:00 to 3:00 on Tuesday, at Holechek Funeral Home in Oshkosh, followed by a private graveside service. We would like to invite you all to stop by Budaroo's and P.S. Flowers to grab a balloon provided by the family from 12:00 to 3:00 on Tuesday, to release that evening in honor of Jep's life.

Jep is the son of Jim and Tessa Paulsen, of Chappell, Nebraska. Jepper loved cuddling with his fuzzy blankets, hanging out with his dragon Stuffy, his strawberry chapstick, and snuggling with his dad and mom. During his short life he had the amazing support of several communities and touched many lives.

He is survived by his parents Jim and Tessa Paulsen, Grandparents Rod and Dani Paulsen, and Alan and Lisa Sanford. Great grandparents; Harold and Donna Sanford, Sharon Paulsen, Whanda Collins, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is proceeded by Great Grandparents; Bud and Pat Robinson, Rodney Paulsen, and Don Collins.

The communities have been so wonderful to Jep. With his memorials, a fund has been established to help others that are faced with difficult challenges. Memorials can be made out to Jep McKinley Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 341, Chappell, NE 69129
