David Elliott, 59, entered into rest on August 27, 2015 peacefully at his home in Chappell, Nebraska.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 3, 2015 in the Chappell Cemetery with military rites provided by the Chappell VFW Post #7002, American Legion Post #217 and the Nebraska Army National Guard Honor Guard.
David Lee Elliott was born in Alliance Nebraska to Richard and Mary (Saulsbury) Elliott on July 4, 1956. He attended school in Alliance and Colorado. In 1974 David joined the Army where he was stationed in Germany.
David loved spending time with his family the most and he enjoyed the outdoors. He would hike, fish or camp anytime that he could.
He is survived by his son, Jerermy Elliott of Chappell, NE; his mother Mary Aaberg of Chappell, NE; brothers: Wayne Elliott of Dix, NE, Randy (Jacquie) Selby of Chappell, NE; his sister, Diane (Wade) Heidiman of Parachute, CO and his three nieces: Shelby Selby of Chappell, NE and Melody and Chelsea Elliott of Dix, Nebraska.
David has been preceded in death by his Father, Richard Lee Elliott of Kimball, Nebraska.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is serving the Elliott family.
