Annette Cox, 54 of Chappell, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at her home in Chappell while battling cancer.

            Memorials services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the Chappell United Methodist Church at 346 Babcock Ave, Chappell, Nebraska, 69129 with Pastor David Abbot officiating. Services will conclude at the church.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the United Methodist Church of Chappell at the address above.

Cremation has taken place and there is no visitation at the funeral home.

            Annette Louise (Nee) Hamilton Cox, the daughter of Paul and Paula (Blackwood) Hamilton was born January 24, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Annette impacted so many lives and she and her spiritual friends have worked to open the Bread of Life Outreach clothing closet and she worked endlessly planning and executing a community Thanksgiving dinner in 2014. These events will continue, in large part, to the efforts and love Annette put into each one. There is an effort to have the community Thanksgiving dinner named in Annette’s honor to recognize her energy and commitment to this project.

She is survived by her brother Michael Hamilton (Debbie); sisters: Linda Wafa, Donna Rucker (James) and Diane Kathmann (Donald), as well as many nieces and nephews. Annette is also survived by very dear friends in the City of Chappell, Nebraska.

Annette is preceded in death by her mother and father, Paul Lyle and Paula Inez Hamilton, and her sister, Cheryl Ann Hamilton.
