Larry Fay Williams

A memorial service for Larry Fay Williams, 66 of Chappell will be at 1:00, Saturday, February 6th, 2016 at the Holechek Funeral Home at 6th & Lincoln Street in Chappell. Rev. David Abbott of the Methodist Church will be officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
Larry passed away Thursday, January 28th, 2016 in Loveland, CO.
Larry Fay was born April 9th, 1949 in Chappell to I. Fay and Verda Jo Sine Williams. He grew up in and around Chappell where he graduated with the class of “67. He attended McCook Junior College in McCook, NE with an Associate degree in Art.
He returned to Chappell after graduation. He worked for Deuel County Road Department and farmed part time with his Dad, Fay. Eventually he ended up farming full time, once his Dad retired.
He married Kathy Brunkhardt on November 15, 1970 and together they had 3 children, Jeremy, Shastan and Melissa.
Larry left the family farm for a while working in Wyoming. He returned to Chappell a few years later after an injury deemed him disabled. He was residing in Chappell at the time of his death.
Larry loved the country; he was a “country boy”. He enjoyed hunting, the changing of the seasons, and looked forward to planting and harvesting that “next” crop. However, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his many friends. Larry never knew a stranger; he always had a quick smile and would help anyone if he could.
He is survived by his son and two daughters and spouses: Jeremy Brening & Fiance’ Eutana of Gillette, WY., Shastan & John of Denver, CO and Melissa Le of Scottsbluff, NE. He had two granddaughters, and four grandsons, two sisters and brother in law, Katie Boehm of Duvall, WA, Darla and Carl Sellers of Cache, OK., three nephews & two nieces and spouses: Bradley & Tia Boehm, Brett & Melanie Boehm both of Duvall, WA, Travis Sellers of Pensacola, FL, Vanessa & Daniel Dempsey of Snyder, OK, Chelsea & Josh Spurlin of Cache, OK. In addition to four great nephews & three great nieces and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Aunt, Jerry Dorman, another Aunt & Uncle June & Kenney Yoder and Parents Fay & Jo Sine Williams.
