Lois Bradley

Lois Gail Bradley, 78, of Oshkosh, Nebraska, passed away May 26, 2016 at the Garden County Nursing Home with her eldest daughter by her side.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, at 1:00 at Holechek Funeral Home with Pastor Kathy Montira officiating. Burial will follow at the Ash Hollow Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorials in Lois’s honor may be made in care of the family to be designated at a later time.

Holechek Funeral Home in Oshkosh is serving the Bradley family.

Lois G. Bradley, the daughter of Leslie and Helen (Scott) Taylor was born February 12, 1938 at Omaha, Nebraska. They resided in Weston, Nebraska where Lois graduated from Weston High School in 1956. She moved to Oshkosh in 1957 with her parents. She worked as a telephone operator and also as a waitress.

She married Leroy Jenison on March 13, 1957 in Victoria, Texas. To this union two daughters were born, Cheri and Shelli.

She later married Steve Bradley on January 8, 1966. To this union two children were born, daughter Stephanie and son Stephen.

Lois enjoyed spending time outdoors. She especially loved arrowhead hunting with her husband Steve, her children and sister-in-law Glenna Johnson. She also loved to fish with her dad. Lois had a tender heart for animals, especially her cats and dogs. She was very creative, enjoyed doing crafts and was a wonderful cook.

She is survived by Steve Bradley of Lewellen; Daughters, Cheri (Steve) Horne from Eatonton, Georgia, Shelli (Kevin) Shepherd from Oshkosh, Ne, and Stephanie (Don) Leeper of Gering, Ne; Grandchildren, Mark and Kenny Boone, Jennyfer and Bryan Bruns, Ashley Haack and Gabriel Bentley. She also was blessed with 9 1/2 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly, plus numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She was proceeded in death by her beloved son, Stephen, parents, Leslie and Helen, brother, Leslie Scott and grandson, Benjamyn Bruns.
