Mary McCall, 80 of Chappell, Nebraska died Monday afternoon, July 3, 2017 at Sidney Regional Medical Center, Extended Care.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, July 10, 2017 in the Mennonite Cemetery east of Chappell with Pastor Jack Norris of the Julesburg Mennonite Church officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until leaving for the cemetery on Monday at the Holechek Funeral Home in Chappell.
Memorials have been established to Adopt a Dog in Chappell.
Mary Louise McCall, the daughter of Delmar and Clara (Roth) Beckler was born December 22, 1936 on the family farm in Deuel County. She grew up on the farm and attended the Chappell schools, graduating from Deuel County High School in 1955. She lived in Chappell where she worked as an assistant to Congresswoman Virginia Smith for many years. She then worked at the Leprino Cheese Factory until it closed. She kept busy cleaning for various people and organizations in Chappell.
Mary was a member of the Mennonite Church in Julesburg.
She is survived by two children: Mark and wife Deb McCall of Gering, NE and Patty and husband Tony Olson of Cheyenne, WY; four grandchildren: T.J., Andy and Brett McCall and Curtis Olson; and two sisters: Donna Little of Illinois and Millie Eichelberger of Missouri.
Holechek Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is serving the McCall family.
