David Sell, MD

David A. Sell, MD, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, September 15, at Perkins County Hospital in Grant, Nebraska. He was 83.

"Doc” was a general surgeon at Scottsbluff Surgical Associates / Western Nebraska Regional Center for 20+ years. He battled Crone’s Disease for most of his adult life which eventually led to his early retirement. In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing, gardening, and building things, from model airplanes to duck blinds to computers.

He leaves behind his wife, Carol; children, Mark and Nicole; sisters, Claudia and Paula; grandchildren, Alexandra, Kizmin, Caitlyn, David and Tyler, and great-grandson Hagen.

No funeral or memorial is to be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crone’s and Colitis Foundation or Ducks Unlimited.
