Debra Elaine (Bradshaw) Leach, 65, of Chappell went home to our heavenly father on Monday, September 9, 2019 after fighting a tough battle with COPD.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the family to help defray costs (c/o Debra Leach Memorial PO Box 763 Chappell, NE 69129)
Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Oshkosh is serving the Leach family.
Deb was born January 9, 1954 in Hastings, Nebraska to Sidney Lee Bradshaw and Erla Pauline Hughs.
She attended school in Franklin, Nebraska.
Deb was united in marriage to Randy Leach on April 13, 2004 in Elko, Nebraska. They made their home in Chappell till the present time.
Deb was a waitress, a profession she loved. She worked at Grandma Max’s until she retired in 2010 because of her COPD. While at work Deb was not only a good waitress but a caring employee who would give you the shirt off of her back to help others.
Deb loved animals; she was always feeding a stray. She was devoted to her dogs, Patches and Scooter.
One of Deb’s most proud moments in life is that she had made it TWO years sober.
Deb is survived by her mother, Erla; father, Sid; mother-in-law, Delores Leach; stepdaughter, Chelsea (Leach) and husband DJ Dabb; and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randy in 2013, a brother Mark, and father-in-law, Ervin.
