Geraldine Zorn

November 12, 1935 — December 25, 2021

Geraldine A. Zorn, 86, of Oshkosh passed away Saturday evening, December 25, 2021 at the Regional West Garden County Hospital in Oshkosh.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Oshkosh with Pastor Scotty Ray officiating.  Burial will be held in the Oshkosh Cemetery at a later date.

Services will be streamed live and available to watch after the service on the Holechek-Bondegard Facebook page (www.facebook.com/hbfunerals).

In accordance with Geraldine’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.

Memorials in Geraldine’s can be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church or the Regional West Garden County Foundation.

Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Oshkosh is serving the Zorn family.

Geraldine Aldah was born November 12, 1935, in Oshkosh to Darius and Aldah (Stilwell) Delatour.  She attended country school in the sandhills. 

She dropped out of high school in 1953 and married Jake Boone.  To this union 3 boys were born: Ken, Mike, and Sam. 

On January 17, 1958, she married John “Jack” Zorn. Two more children, John and Sally joined the family.  They lived on the family ranch north of Oshkosh. 

She worked 45+ years at the old hospital and moving into the new hospital in housekeeping.  Later in life, she earned her CNA and continued working after her “retirement” in addition to cleaning houses. 

Geraldine loved playing cards and getting together with friends to play cards.  She was a longtime active member of St. Mark’s and many other organizations around the county.  She held numerous fundraisers.

Geraldine is survived by her children; Mike and wife, Barb Boone, Sam and wife, Mary Kay Boone, John Zorn and Sally and husband, Dean Corfield all of Oshkosh; 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way; 2 sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1994; son, Ken in 1975; and all of her siblings.
