Jackie Pollat

Jackie J. Shaw Pollat passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at her home in Gurley.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation has taken place.

She was born in Oshkosh, Nebraska on August 3, 1947. Jackie was married to Roy F. Shaw Jr, from Oshkosh, on April 14, 1967. They moved around to many areas and settled in Gurley for the last 28 years.  Roy (Sonny) passed away on Oct. 5, 1994. There were no children to this union.

Jackie remained in Gurley wither her 3 dogs, Molly, Sophie, and Peanuts, who were he constant companions.  She loved yard sales and thrift stores, every Friday she was off to Sidney to see her friends at the thrift stores and find new treasures She loved card games with family and visiting with her best friend for 67 years Maida Hardin Chapin on the phone daily talking about horses and daily happenings.

Jackie was the first of 5 children, her siblings include, Larry (Donna) Lane from Sioux Falls SD, Beth Marr from Lodgepole Ne, Mark Lane From Chappell, Ne and David (Janet) Lane from Chappell.  Her niece Lisa (Mark) Reed from Sidney was a special part of her life along with numerous other nieces & nephews.
