Joshua Magee

Joshua Scott Magee, 36, of Curtis NE., passed away March 13, 2022, in Sidney NE.

The family will have a celebration of life March 18, 2022, in Curtis, Ne at the Yellow Rose starting at 8 p.m. Come share your memories and have a toast to Joshua. His burial is to be determined.

Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is assisting the Magee family with local arrangements.

He was born on June 22, 1985, to Robert “Scott” and Merri Magee in North Platte, NE.

Josh was a jack of all trades and master of most. He had a personality that was best described as infectious. In that, there was not a person who didn’t of him, and had some impact on their lives.  He embraced living a non-traditional life, on the go all the time, and living one adventure after another. His son, Rowdy, was the light of his life. Josh was happiest when he had Rowdy with him trucking, doing what he loved most.

He is survived by his son, Rowdy Magee of Eustis, NE, his sister, Haley Magee of Chappell, NE, his brother, Elliot Garrison, of Anchorage, AK, and his grandmother, Geraldine Magee of Curtis, NE. He will also be missed by aunts and uncles, cousins, his niece and nephews, and many friends.

Josh was preceded in death by his mother, Merri Magee, his father, Robert Magee, his grandfather, Leland Magee, his grandparents, Herbert, and Janice Harden.

A Josh Magee Memorial account has been set up at Western Nebraska Bank. Memorials can be given to the family or given directly to Western Nebraska Bank for Joshua’s headstone.
