Larry, a.k.a. Mr. Larry, lived in Oshkosh Nebraska for 63 years and was as much as the area as the dirt and wind.  He was the man people sought out if they needed help because they knew he would answer the call.  Larry was a true handyman and gave his skills willingly, all one needed to do was ask. He dedicated his time and efforts to more of the community than can be named including the volunteer fire department and ambulance service.  Larry loved fishing anywhere a pole could be cast and hunting any animal that moved.  Everything he caught or shot was eaten unless it was an unfortunate prairie dog, rattle snake, or skunk.  He loved the beauty of this country and could be seen driving dirt roads and even picking wild flowers or asparagus.  Larry loved to help with harvest and often used his vacation time to cut wheat.  He worked as a custodian for the hospital and nursing home before working 31 years for Garden County Schools.  He was a fixture in the schools and acted as a caretaker to any kid that needed it.  His openness, good humor, and vibrant personality made him a friend to anyone and everyone.

Larry will be missed by his family and friends.

Larry is survived by daughters Julia E. Rolfe of Catonsville, MD and Jemma L. Pipkin of Manhattan, KS; three grandchildren: Xavier, Alexander, and Sophia; two brothers: Kenny and Melvin; and four sisters: Ida Mae, Allie, Connie, and Merlene.

Proceeded in death by parents Kenneth D. and Ida Frida Tucker and his Son Jasper.
