Lyal Taylor

Lyal Austin Taylor, 90 of Westminster, Colorado passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at the Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home in Chappell.  Burial will follow in the Chappell Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  

Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is serving the Taylor family.

Lyal was born on December 24, 1931 in Chappell, NE to Lyal and Chelsea Taylor. He was a farmer and rancher in Northeastern Colorado raising wheat, corn, sugar beets and cattle.  After 20 years, he relocated to Broomfield where he retired after finishing his career as a Sprinkler Installation Technician.  Lyal enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his family and friends.

Lyal was a kind and loving husband to his wife Donna of 46 years, as well as an amazing father to his five children, Brock (Carol) Taylor of Clovis CA., Deborah (Rick) Sedbrook of Broomfield CO., Steve Taylor of Westminster, CO., Michele (Jay) Hicks of Broomfield CO., and Paul Clark of Jefferson, CO.  Eight great grandchildren, Rebecca Cuadras, Lindsay Agius, Colt Sedbrook, Kayla Riding, Peri Hicks, Nicole Hicks and Jace Hicks. Eight great-grandchild Ryder, Tanner, Phoebe, Tiegan, Caleb, James, Kodi and Thaxton.
