Randall “Randy" Rigney, 42, of Lewellen passed away February 20, 2025 at his home after a brief illness.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Community Wesleyan Church in Lewellen with Pastor Bruce Neal officiating.
Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Memorials in Randy's name can be made to the family for later designation.
Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Oshkosh is serving the Rigney family.
Randall William Rigney was born on January 21, 1983 in Denver Colorado to William and Terri (Leach) Rigney. He attended school in Denver until the family moved to Lewellen when he was in 6th grade. He then attended Garden County Schools.
Due to many health issues, he lived a simple life. He will be fondly remembered for his love of animals and his ability to care for them. Randy enjoyed gaming, WWE wrestling, football, and learning history. From the time he could walk, he loved the outdoors and going camping.
He is survived by his mother, Terri Rigney of Lewellen; siblings, Zach (Miranda) Kittrell of Denver and Jaime (Dan) Butler of Enid, Oklahoma; 2 nieces, Mariah and Trinity Kittrell; great-niece, Valentina; aunts and uncles; Anita (Rick Talley) Leach, Marilyn (Michael) Starnes, and Christopher (Faye) Leach; and extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and his cousin and best friend, Josh Leach.
