Robert Mick

Robert L. Mick, 71, of Chappell passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2018 at the Chappell Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kevin Jacobs officiating.  Burial will follow in the Chappell Cemetery with Military Honors.

Memorials in Robert's name can be made to Adopt-A-Dog in Chappell.

Robert Lee Mick was the first son born to Paul and Dorothy Mick.  He was raised in the Chappell and Julesburg area and lived there all his life.

Robert served in the US Navy and was discharged on February 14, 1969.  During his service he received 3 medals.

He worked at various jobs over the years including, Leprino Foods, Pamida, Cabelas and the Great Western Sugar Beet Factory.  He loved NASCAR, drag racing and fishing.

Robert is survived by 2 brothers, Doug and wife, Ann Mick and Kevin Mick; 1 sister, Sarah and husband, Robert Watson; niece and nephew, Teresa Farlin and Justin Mick; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
