Sharon Kay Ellis was born March 26th, 1946 to Albert and Myrtle Tjepkes in Rochester, Minnesota
Sharon had a heart of gold. She would always help out her family or friends in time of need. She loved to travel and see the sights, she loved camping, fishing, casinos, bingo (Especially if she won), and her sweets.
She also loved to cook for the Holidays. She would always cook 20+ deserts, even if there were only 4-5 people showing up. And she would not take no for an answer, she insisted. She loved long conversations and always a Minnesota Good-Bye. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. And she cherished every moment that she got to spend with them.
Sharon you were a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend. You will be deeply missed in our hearts and we will always have the best of memories.

IF TEARS COULD BUILD A STAIRWELL
If tears could build a stairwell
And memories were a lane,
We would walk right up to heaven
And bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why.
Our hearts still ache in sadness,
And secret tears still flow,
What it means to lose you
No one will ever know.
But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more,
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store.
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today,
A hallowed place within our heart
Is where you’ll always stay.
In Memory of Mom (Sharon)
