Shianne Madison Somer Thompson (Sitton), 23, of Oshkosh, Ne. passed away January 15th, 2022, at her home. Along with Shianne we celebrate the life of Osmund Thompson as Shianne was expecting this little light to embrace her in July of 2022.
Funeral Services for Shianne and Osmund will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Oshkosh Community Wesleyan Church with Pastor Bruce Neal officiating. Services will conclude at the church and burial will be held at a later date.
Services will be streamed live and available to watch after the service on the Holechek-Bondegard Facebook page (www.facebook.com/hbfunerals).
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the church.
Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Homes and Cremations in Oshkosh is serving the Thompson family.

Shianne (Pickle/Madagascar/or Madi) was born May 5th, 1998, in Cheyenne Wy. to the parents Scott Sitton and Penny Saxton along with her siblings Brittany (Anthony Birdsill), Tessa Saxton, Tebby (Mark McArthur), Ashley, Ramiro Alveras, and Marcos Aleveras. Shianne grew up in Ogallala, Ne. where she graduated in 2016. Shianne’s hobbies included band with musical talents in many instruments, Color Guard, Flag Core, Art, and personal writing consumed her spare time (all of which were life-long passions). She then met the love of her life Alex Thompson in 2017, the two were engaged on December 25th, 2017; the two were united in marriage June 25th, 2018. Shianne graduated from WNCC with her CNA certificate in 2019. Shianne and Alex were blessed with their first child Luka in 2020. Shianne was a role model, loving wife, mother, and sibling. Her talent with makeup was phenomenal. All of her siblings told her she was hatched from a dino-egg and she believed it for the longest time. She had the kindest heart, and she was very proactive in all her endeavors. Quitting was never an option; she gave her all until things were complete. Family was everything and her love knew no bounds. “Life is life, enjoy what you have and love those who are in it” (Shianne Thompson).
Shianne is survived by her husband, Alex Thompson and son, Luka Thompson; father, Scott (Angela) Sitton; mother Penny Saxton; mother-in-law, Brandi (Michelle) Wright, father-in-law, Roger (Kelly) Thompson; and Tracy (Brandy) Rotter; grandfather, Dean (Lucy) Sitton; Grandma Julie (Richard) Newman, Grandma Jeanette Thompson, Grandma Jody (Larry) Ryan-Gipe, and Grandpa Wayne (Shauna) Wright; great-grandfather Stacy Sitton; siblings, Brittany (Anthony Birdsill), Tessa Saxton, Tebby (Mark McArthur), Ashley, Ramiro Alveras , Marcos Alveras, Kyle Thompson, Ashley (Gage) Dike, Dustin Henkel, Parker Wright, Tray Wright, Londyn Gerard-Wright; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and her fur-babies, Arlo, Odin, and Luna.
Shianne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Judy Sitton, Mark Reyna, Chuck Saxton, John Thompson, a special friend, Kylie Hicks, and numerous great-grandparents.
