Terry Lynn Raymer was born April 17, 1952 in Chadron NE to Douglas and Vera Raymer. He was the youngest of their four children.
After attending schools in Chadron and working there for a few years Terry moved to Oshkosh in 1971 to work for his brother Gerald in his body shop. He eventually went to work for the Garden County Road Department and then served as Garden County Weed Superintendent until his retirement.
On October 21st 1974 Terry was united in marriage to Pamela Kugler. They had two children, Kelli Jo and Chad Lynn. Chad preceded him in death but presented him with two beautiful granddaughters, Timberly and Aiva. Kelli Jo gave him four handsome grandsons, Bryce, Bryant, Joshua and Jacob.
Terry was very proud and spoke often of his grandchildren and looked forward to their visits. He told them many “when I was your age” stories, which caused a few eye rolls. Perhaps his favorite thing was “shooting the breeze” with family and friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing for as long as he was able. He loved sitting and watching his son Chad work in the garage on his “rat rod” and other projects.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his son Chad, and brother Doug. He will be dearly missed by his wife Pamela of Oshkosh, daughter Kelli Jo Iverson (Brooks) of North Platte NE, grandchildren Bryce Iverson, Bryant Iverson (Shay), Joshua Iverson and Jacob Iverson (Emma) of North Platte, Timberly and Aiva Raymer of Alliance NE, Patience Lynn Boyce of Kearney NE, Pam’s stepmother Terry Kugler of Oshkosh, brother Gerald (Pattie) Raymer of Alliance NE, sister LaDeanne Dawkins of Ft.
