Twila "June" Schuler

Twila “June” Schuler, 95, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away Friday afternoon, October 11, 2024 in Englewood, Colorado.

Memorial Services and burial in Ash Hollow are being planned for Spring 2025.

Twila June (Michael) Schuler was born August 24, 1929 in Arthur, Nebraska to Damon Darrel and Irene Elizabeth (Bruce) Michael. She grew up on the farm attending country schools until the family moved to Oshkosh. 

She was united in marriage to Wallace Schuler on June 1, 1947 in Oshkosh, Nebraska. To the union 2 children were born: Penny and Rollin.

The family lived in Littleton, Colorado where June worked converting information to microfiche. June and Wally retired to Lake Mac and in 2002 bought a home in Oshkosh. June moved to Englewood, Colorado in 2019 to be closer to her children.

June was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church for many years. June enjoyed yard work and visits with family and friends.

June is survived by one daughter, Penny Turpin and her husband, Mike Goodwin of Centennial, Colorado; one son, Rollin and his wife Erika Schuler of Castle Pines, Colorado; four grandchildren, Troy Turpin, Tyler and his wife, Erin Turpin and Rollin II Schuler and his wife Frances and Bela Harris and her husband Chris; two-great-grandsons, Tanner and Trevor Turpin; sister Betty Reynolds of Overland Park, Kansas and brother Milton Michael of Alliance, Nebraska along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wally in 2011; her parents, sisters Jean Wilman, Anne Powers, Marilyn Baird and Beverly Shepherd; brothers, Richard and Donald Michael, brothers in law, Don Reynolds, Bob Powers, Ben Shepherd and George Baird and an infant brother, Darrel Oliver Michael.
